Angel has told Halfwit that she hopes she’s going to leave the house tonight.

“I’ve made myself ready to go. I’ve had enough” she told him.

Halfwit seemed uncomfortable with the conversation and struggled to find something appropriate to say but eventually came up with, “Either way, you’re an entertainer. Whatever happens, you inspire people.

“Look at it like this – when you leave here, it’s like being born again…”

But Angel wasn’t going to be consoled that easily and went for a metaphor to explain her lack of enthusiasm about being booted out.

“I’ve been born too many times” she said, and repeated, “Whatever happens, happens. I’ve had enough.”

I hope Angel goes tonight. What about you? Do you want to wave goodbye to Halfwit or Angel?

Jermaine Jackson on Michael's Final Hours

Jermaine Jackson, who broke out onto the world stage with his brother Michael in The Jackson Five, is sharing details about Michael Jackson's finals hours with "The Insider." "My brother, the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 2:26 p.m. It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," Jermaine tells "The Insider." "His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate my brother, as did paramedics who transported him to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Upon arriving at the hospital at approximately 1:14 p.m., a team of highly skilled doctors, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful. Our family requests that the media respect our privacy during this tragic period of time," Jermaine continues in the statement.

GLAAD asks Perez Hilton to apologize for using anti-gay slur

Perez “my eye is falling out” Hilton posted an indignant 11 minute video rant on his blog yesterday in which he expressed outrage that the manager of the Black Eyed Peas punched him in the face after he called musician Will.i.am the anti-gay f-word multiple times. Perez is a gay man and admitted that he used the slur after making “a split second decision that I was going to say the worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear.” He stupidly added “I knew it was going to set him off but I didn’t want to get into a fight with this person.” Will.i.am said that he didn’t attack Perez and explained in a calm video blog on his website that he thought a fan must have hit him after witnessing the incident. He elaborated in another video segment that he didn’t punch him at all and that it was unfair to accuse him of it.

Now the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAAD, has issued a call for Perez to apologize for using the F word, which is one of the most hateful anti-gay slurs out there. (We are sorry for printing this word in full yesterday and will include an asterisk in the word in the future, as per GLAAD’s request.)

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has asked Perez Hilton to apologize for slurs he hurled at Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.

GLAAD was responding to a video posted by the celebrity blogger, whose legal name is Mario Lavandeira, in which Hilton gave his version of events after Will.i.am posted a video describing their recent confrontations at and after the MuchMusic Video Awards. Said Hilton in his video: “I made the split-second decision — that I was gonna say what I thought was the worst possible thing that thug [Will.i.am] would ever want to hear” — which was a handful of assorted F-bombs.

Rashad Robinson, GLAAD’s senior director of media programs, said: “These are vulgar anti-gay slurs that feed a climate of hatred and intolerance toward our community. For someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is, quote, ‘The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,’ is incredibly dangerous. It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting anti-gay attitudes.”

“We have reached out to Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this anti-gay slur, and we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story.”

Reader jm noted yesterday that Perez was being a hypocrite along with a bigot because he’s “the same guy who launched that crazy hate campaign against Isaiah Washington from Grey’s Anatomy ([for] using the f word).” Why would he call someone the F word after rallying against it? It doesn’t make sense and there seems to be some kind of self-hatred going on there. Will.i.am’s measured, much more believable account makes it seem like Perez way overreacted. That really seems to be the case especially since we can see that he’s continuing to overreact in his response to the incident. He didn’t seem to think there was anything wrong with throwing the F word out there as if it was a legitimate response to being asked by Will.i.am to be more respectful to his band and to his friend Fergie.

TMZ has the video of Perez’s outrageous slur and there were plenty of people watching. It’s not surprising that someone thought the best response to his out of control outrage was a beat down. Do you think he’s going to apologize or will he continue to play the pouting, wronged victim? Still nothing on his website, but it’s early on the west coast.

Hottie Bradley Cooper Confirms ‘The Hangover’ Sequel

Not sure if I should admit this, but I have seen The Hangover twice in the last week and it is the best movie I’ve seen in a long time–maybe ever.  So imagine my excitement when I heard there will be a sequel.

Gorgeous Bradley Cooper, who plays Ed Helms in the hit movie, may be one of the reasons we love the film.  Topping the box office charts for a second week, Bradley confirmed that there will indeed be a second movie.

“We’re going to shoot it next fall… We’ve gotta go to space or something.  Some weird thing’s got to happen.”

The story line for The Hangover has four guys going to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend Doug’s bachelor party and all hell breaks loose.  Not only do they lose Doug but all recollection of what happened the night before.  It is worth going to see if you don’t mind some minor nudity.  Second time around Cooper hopes that they lose Doug again.

We can’t wait!

Lindsay Lohan Acting Erratic?

LiLo is sparking fresh concern after allegedly acting "erratically and odd" during a weekend of partying.
The Mean Girl first turned up at the AXE party in the Hamptons with her younger brother were she drank "virgin shirley temples" and "spent most of her time talking on her phone."
The next night she showed up at VIP room in a night club where she immediately went and played on a stripper pole, according to reports.
This may not be a good sign for the star if this turns out to be true.

Clips of supposed Rihanna sex tape released

It’s been rumored for a long time that a Rihanna sex tape was going to hit the internet. Though it seems like, these days, you can start that rumor to get some good buzz and then just produce a fuzzy green facsimile a few weeks later. In May cell photo photos of a nude (supposedly) Rihanna made their way around the internet, along with photos of Chris Brown with (presumably) her underwear on his head. Chris of course denied that he had anything to do with the leak – because he’s Chris Brown, when has he ever done something wrong?

Obviously we can’t point the finger at Brown for this upcoming debacle – but supposedly, the Rihanna sex tape is about to make its way onto the internet, and there’s a short little trailer floating around YouTube.

Call it wishful thinking, but rumors that Rihanna made a sex tape have been circulating for months. And this morning, some people are claiming this one is actually legit. We aren’t sure because the dirty vid is only 13 seconds long and the lighting is kind of wack. Maybe the orgasming girl is just a Rihanna look-a-like, like the chick Chris Brown brought to the NBA finals on Sunday? The mysterious site that released the video claims the rest of it will be out soon. The snippet after the jump isn’t too graphic, so watch and chime in on whether you think it’s real or really fake.

I guess since the video’s not even technically out there, we can’t blame Brown. And it doesn’t look entirely like Rihanna. It absolutely could be, but it could also be the girl the Frisky mentioned that Brown’s been hanging out with, who just happens to look like Rihanna’s doppelganger. Or it could be any number of celeb lookalikes. The resemblance isn’t so uncanny that it’s indisputable, like Paris Hilton in her infamous green sex tape. Maybe it’ll become obvious with more footage ,but as it stands right now I’m not convinced one way or the other.

There was a rumor a while ago that Rihanna had some embarrassing nude photos of Chris Brown that she was planning on leaking as revenge. I’m still anxious for those to come out – I could use a good laugh today.

Lindsay Lohan Under Investigation

Over the past couple of days, a story has been circulating that Lindsay Lohan was being investigated for the theft of $49,000 in jewels.  Lohan and theft go together like, well, like Winona Ryder and theft.  It’s not really an exceptional tale.  However, now that People confirms that the value is more like $400,000 and Scotland Yard is involved, it feels a little more like a story worth discussing.

The jewels in question are a necklace and earrings that Lindsay wore for an Elle U.K. photo shoot.  Like most everything that Linds touches, they ended up in the bottom of her handbag missing.  I’m sure that it’s just standard operating procedure to question everyone who was on set the day the jewels went bye-bye.  After all, what reason would anyonepossibly have to think that Lohan was the guilty party?  I can’t think of one. 

An either stupid or incredibly naive Elle U.K. spokesperson released the following statement:  “Elle has no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible and has no further comment to make.”

Oh, and if you’re wondering where I found the super-snazzy vintage Linds photo from, she put it up on Twitter last night because she was bored.  Sigh.

Sandra Bullock: ‘Being a parent isn’t about breeding’

Sandra Bullock gave a funny interview to USA Today to promote her new film, The Proposal. Mostly, the interview is about how much Bullock loves her costar Betty White, and how Betty White is pretty much the most awesome person around. A Golden Girls devotee myself, I’m totally with Sandra on this one. Sandra talks about the funny scene (that’s in the previews) of Betty feeling Sandra up and cracking a joke about how she’s flat-chested. But the best part of the interview was when Sandra talks about how she feels a real kinship with Betty because they both chose to be stepmothers but not biological mothers. As Sandra says it, “I may never hear that word ‘mom’. But being a parent is not about breeding. It’s about caring. And it’s easy to say, but it’s harder to do.” Amen to that. Sandra’s comments sort of remind me of what Cameron Diaz said last week, that “we don’t need any more kids, we have plenty of people on this planet.”

Betty White steals every scene she’s in during The Proposal by doing her never-fail mischievous granny routine. And star Sandra Bullock knows it. “You have to play the straight guy. There’s no way you’re going to match her.”

When the elder actress feels around Bullock’s chest for her breasts while altering a baggy wedding dress and declares, “It’s like an Easter egg hunt,” the line gets them every time. “She was one of the most gentle lovers I’ve ever had,” Bullock jokes. “And I was thankful that she found them.”

White has even gone viral, thanks to a mock on-the-set video that has received almost 300,000 views on the humor website Funny or Die. She harasses male lead Ryan Reynolds, calling him an “ab-crunching jackass,” and sneakily flashes him the finger while being syrupy sweet to Bullock.

What did take Bullock aback was how the life of TV’s onetime Happy Homemaker, Golden Girl and game-show queen paralleled hers, a fact she learned while doing publicity with fellow cast members.

“Someone made a comment about your husband and children and all that stuff,” she says about White, 87, who found lasting love in her early 40s with Password host and widower Allen Ludden after two short-lived marriages. “She said, ‘You know what? I never had children biologically. I married someone who had three children. And how blessed I was to have those three stepchildren.’ That’s exactly what happened to me.”

Given how gossip rags are always speculating on whether Bullock is pregnant with her motorcycle mogul husband Jesse James, White’s inspirational words struck home. “I went, ‘Wow.’ When everyone is going ‘You should have a baby now,’ I’m like, ‘I could. Maybe I should. But do I need to?’”

Bullock continues to adjust to life as a stepmom. She and James work closely with his first wife to raise his two older children. “We all parent together,” she says. “It’s beautiful. It’s like synchronized swimming.” Daughter Sunny, 5, has been living with her dad and Bullock while his second wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, serves time for failing to pay taxes.

“I may never hear that word ‘mom,’ ” Bullock says. “But being a parent is not about breeding. It’s about caring. And it’s easy to say, but it’s harder to do. When you don’t have that title, you flounder and it hurts. But this is the best test of being a parent. And I just have to keep reminding myself I don’t care what I get. I care what I give.”

I didn’t know that about Betty White, so I found her romantic history very interesting. Most people have probably already seen the video that the article referenced from Funny or Die featuring Sandra, Ryan Reynolds and Betty White, but here’s the link to it anyway. Even though I think The Proposal looks horrible, I hope Betty gets a solid career resurgence out of it. Betty needs to be in more movies and television shows. Cast her on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, they always get great old-school stars to play perverts.

John Mayer & Alexa Ray Joel Dating?

John Mayer has been playing the field since his most recent split from on-again/off-again girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, but Christie Brinkley believes she’s found a very suitable companion for the 31-year-old ladies man — her daughter!

Christie wants to set the “Clarity” crooner up on a date with Alexa Ray Joel, the four-time divorcee’s 23-year-old daughter with “piano man” Billy Joel, a new report claims.

Maybe the bitter divorce battle with former hubby Peter Cook has fried her brain?

“They could make beautiful music together,” Christie has reportedly said of Alexa, an aspiring blues singer, and John.

According to the June 22 issue of The Globe: The supermodel told pals she thinks that John is adorable and would be ‘perfect dating material’ for Alexa.

The Pitt Family Donates $1 Million to St. John’s Hospital

Just days after Brad Pitt purchased a super expensive piece of art for his collection, he uses his money to do some good. Doug Pitt announced the Brad Pitt family, Doug and Lisa Pitt and Rob and Julie Neal will donate $1 million to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at St. John’s. In honor of their mother, the center will be renamed St. John’s Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.

The endowment fund will also go toward building a new pediatric unit, a 10-bedroom hospital-based Ronald McDonald house and doubling the size of the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. St. John’s is matching the $1 million donation to help fund the expansion.

Once completed this summer, St. John’s Hospital will become one of six affiliates of the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, which of course, is one of Jennifer Aniston’s favorite charities.

I find it very interesting that most media sources are crediting this donation to the Pitt Family only…but Us Weekly says that St. Angelina was involved too.

TV Review: Tonight’s ‘True Blood’, Episode 2.01 ‘Nothing but the Blood’

Last year I reviewed the first five episodes of HBO’s vampire drama “True Blood” and due to an unfortunate miscommunication I didn’t receive screeners of the final seven episodes, which meant the reviewing stopped there. However, I was recently sent the final seven episodes of season one along with the first four episodes of season two and a promise to make sure I am able to bring you reviews of each episode all season long, which has me extraordinarily excited.

I am the first to admit I didn’t instantly take to the “True Blood” series. Of the first five episodes I reviewed I wasn’t altogether impressed, but I had a feeling there was a lot of potential, and boy was I right. The final seven episodes of the first season got better and better, and the first four of season two had me glued to the screen. I can now honestly say I am hooked and a dedicated “True Blood” fan.

While I have watched the first four episodes of this second season, I’m not going to get ahead of the show and will only review one episode per week starting with tonight’s season two premiere episode, “Nothing but the Blood” and hopefully you’ll catch the episodes on HBO and join in the conversation as the season progresses. I won’t be spoiling the goings on during these reviews, just simply plotting the course and giving an overall opinion. However, if you like to go in 100% fresh then perhaps come on back after you’ve seen each episode and weigh in with your opinion.

Now, before we go any further, if you haven’t watched “True Blood” yet and want to get a brief season one recap, I have written up a “need to know” article right here, which will give you a heads up as to where the show takes place, has been and is heading. The recap will get you up to speed and ready for tonight’s season two premiere, but if you are ready to go now let’s get to the review…

If you’ll remember, the last moments of the first season of “True Blood” ended with the reveal of what appeared to be a dead body in the back of Detective Andy Bellefleur’s (Chris Bauer) car outside Merlotte’s bar and restaurant. And, as with all episodes of “True Blood” we are instantly tossed back in the action as Sookie (Anna Paquin), Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Sam (Sam Trammell) find out the identity of said dead body as screams are let loose (an impressive one by Tara) and the responsible party for yet another Bon Temps dead body is entirely unknown.

Beyond this early moment we find Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) somewhere you wouldn’t want to be left alive; the mystery of Maryann (Michelle Forbes) gets deeper and deeper; Jason Stackhouse gets in deep with the Fellowship of the Sun Church and we are introduced to a new character in Daphne (Ashley Jones).

Perhaps one of my biggest concerns from the first season was Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), the freshly minted vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) was forced to create as punishment for killing another vampire in order to save Sookie (all three are featured in the clip to the right). I was worried the character would become too clichéd and just play the role of the “brat” the entire time, but as this show has proven in the past, things move too quickly for any one character to fit into a specific mold for too long. As a matter of fact, Jessica becomes a character that has some of the best moments in the first four episodes of this second season although in this first episode you only see a little of the character’s growth.

I don’t want to reveal much more since this first episode of the season isn’t as much about action as it is about establishment for what turns out being a four episode story arc in which A LOT happens. However, as you have probably noticed, not a lot of what happens in this episode revolves around Sookie. Sure, she’s the lead protagonist of the show but one thing this series has done over its first twelve episodes is give a lot of quality time to its supporting cast, almost to the point they aren’t actually supporting any longer as much as they all merely share a connection with Sookie in one way or another. Good thing too, because I think the supporting characters in this show may be the most eclectic and entertaining bunch I have ever seen in a television show in a long time.

So there you have it. The first episode of season two isn’t necessarily a barn burner when compared to those that follow and those that led up to it, but it has the task of establishing all that is to come, or at least all that is to come over the course of the next three episodes. It is a good episode, but things get much better, very quickly.

Leonardo DiCaprio & Bar Refaeli Are Dunzo!

People magazine is reporting that the very on-again, off-again couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have decided to call things off again … they’re dunzo, y’all:

On-again off-again couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have called it quits once more, sources confirm to PEOPLE. “They’re taking time off for the time being, they’ve split,” says a source. “It could just end up as a break but for now they’re doing their own thing.” That much was certainly apparent over the weekend as the Israeli-born Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, 23, walked the red carpet at Hollywood Life’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards solo, refusing to speak about DiCaprio, while the Titanic star, 34, hit the hotspot Avenue in New York City, where he was seen chatting with another woman. “He was standing at the bar in front of everyone talking to a girl the entire night – and it wasn’t Bar,” says one onlooker. “It was in no way behavior for a guy who has a serious girlfriend.” (DiCaprio and Refaeli were then reportedly photographed together in Los Angeles on Monday night.) According to a Refaeli source, the model’s desire to get serious may have caused the actor to have doubts about their relationship. “She wanted to move faster than he did, she wanted to move in together,” the source says, “so he broke it off.”

First Jiley are dunzo and then these two break-up … what the eff is going on? At least we can take heart that it appears that L. Ron have gotten back together again. It should be noted that US Weekly is reporting via a source of their own that Leo and Bar have not broken up:

Contrary to a new report, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli haven’t split, a source close to the couple tells Usmagazine.com. “They are still together,” the source says.

Hahahaha! Way to come back US Weekly. Considering the track records between these two publications, I’d place more value on the report from People. Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t strike me as the settling down type of guy … so I can see how pressure from a girl to take things in a more serious direction might make him head for the hills. I’m sure that the supermodel will have no problem finding a new guy … and I have no doubt that Leo will quickly find himself a new chick.

My Interview With Kelly Ripa For Electrolux And The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund

I had the privilege to interview the gorgeous Kelly Ripa today and ask her questions about how her and Electrolux have teamed up with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund to help raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause.

We had some technical difficulties in the beginning.  Of course it had to happen to me! AHHH!  Luckily they didn’t give up on me, we were able to get things working and I had my chance to chat with her via webcam.

She was super sweet, fun and very informative.  Unfortunately my internet connection is not super-duper high-speed (that’s what we get for living in the middle of nowhere) and my end of the interview is a bit rough, but you get the point!

Kelly was busy serving lemonade from Electrolux’s fabulous new French Door Refrigerator in Central Park earlier today, Monday, June 8, 2009, in hopes that she and Electrolux will encourage others to open their own virtual lemonade stands to help raise funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund this summer.  For every lemonade stand opened at electroluxappliances.com, Electrolux will donate $1 to help support this great cause.

S.S. Motorboating

Oh look you guys, it’s Kelly Brook in a shiny red bikini.  First she climbs onto a yacht and then she stands around for awhile showing off her metallic camel toe.  Then she and some blonde chick in a thong feel each other up a little, and all of a sudden Kelly Brook is getting motorboated in front of God and everybody.  I guess it must be your birthday or something.  Anyway, these pictures are from the set of Piranha 3-D.  I don’t know about you, but I get the distinct impression that it will be a cinematic masterpiece for the ages.  Or at least the ages of 17 and over.

Still Not Dead

Heather Graham was in Dublin for another premiere of The Hangover, and it would appear that she continues to not be dead.  I keep forgetting she exists, which is both mysterious and unfortunate since Heather Graham isn’t even annoying and I don’t hate her at all and I would much rather forget about the existence of some assclown like Heidi Montag.  Why can’t SHE just keep falling out of my brain as though she never even happened in the first place?

Will Nottingham Not Happen? Russell Crowe Gladiating With Ridley Scott, May Bankrupt Movie Industry

Crowe in his Tommy Boy corsetWell, maybe not the entire industry, but all these production stoppages have to be coming out of someone's pocket, and I'm sure it's not Russell's.

The once magnificent, now pudgy and petulant Russell Crowe has been stirring shit on the set of the Robin Hood movie Universal is trying to make. They've teamed Crowe up with Ridley Scott, who has worked (and battled) with Crowe on four other movies, most notably Body of Lies, which sucked. The word is that Russell still blames that suckage on Scott, and has gone so far as to try to get him fired. He was able to get rid of Serial Miller, but Scott is proving a much worthier opponent.

Will this movie ever get made? Robin Hood was always one of my favorite movies, but Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett as Robin Hood and Maid Marion? I dunno, but I don't think that's age appropriate for either actor. If anyone can save this movie it'll be Cate, but I wonder if Russell can bear to let her outshine him, which she of course will do. She's way out of his league.
